Yes, another perfect one is released.

There’s no secret in fact that the South Korean TV industry is getting more and more popular with each passing day. And frankly, we are getting tired of counting just how many perfect shows there are already created, because when we think “nothing can top this one” the next K-drama ends up dethroning whatever masterpiece there was before.

May is not an exception and is full of premiers on different streaming platforms. For example, on May 4 Netflix subscribers got the chance to see the new fantasy K-drama called The Atypical Family created by Kang Eun Kyung.

Only two episodes of the series have been released for now but it seems that the drama is already becoming everybody’s sweetheart. The show is already in Netflix’s Global Chart on #10, and there are many reasons for that. For example, the audience was happy to hear Chun Woo Hee and Jang Ki Yong are playing the main roles.

What Is Atypical Family About?

At the center of this K-drama is a young man named Bok Gwi Joo, who has amazing superpowers. Like he can travel back in time, but only into the happy times of his life. The only sad thing is that he can’t change the past, but can only dwell on the moments he once lived through.

Therefore, after constantly relieving better times and coming back to reality, he became depressed and suddenly lost his powers altogether. His family also possesses supernatural powers, but for various reasons related to the harsh realities of modern life, such as the exposure of mental disorders, they all begin to lose their powers as well.

However, one day their hopes are lifted when a young woman named Do Da He joins the family...

The series is available to stream on Netflix and the next episode will be released on May 11.
