Justice must be served for this one!

The genre of science fiction is one of the most popular: it was back then and it is now. However it seems that there are only a few sci-fi shows that are getting enough praise nowadays, and the rest of the not less brilliant series are being sidelined.

One of such shows is definitely Farscape, created by Rockne S. O'Bannon. The series premiered in 1999 and ran up until it was canceled on its season 4 in 2003 because of being too expensive to produce.

Despite its 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Farscape remains a show that only true sci-fi fans know about. This exciting Australian-American show is about an astronaut named John Crichton. A specialist from Earth, he was thrown into a distant part of the universe and ended up as part of the crew of a fugitive alien spaceship.

Trapped among alien creatures with deadly technology and hunted by a merciless military race, Crichton is about to embark on an epic odyssey greater than anything he has ever imagined.

The show is weird and quirky and is full of amazing visuals, which just adds charisma to it. And the puppets are from the whole other world…

“Farscape is so good that I tracked down every dvd and spent almost $500 to get the whole series. I recently rewatched the series and it has the same feeling that X-Files does for me-you get to know the characters and they start feeling real and you get so absorbed in their world that you feel sad when it's over, like someone you love has just died,” Redditor hugsnpugs said.

The characters are compelling, all the storylines are absolutely exciting and fans feel betrayed that it didn’t get its fifth season.

Where to Watch Farscape Today?
