After Jensen Ackles, Another Icon Joins Tracker's Season 1

With Jensen Ackles being Tracker’s first season’s exciting guest star in the upcoming episodes, the casting news isn’t over yet. The show’s final episodes of the season seemingly claim for a significant expansion of the narrative bringing in more and more new characters that would somehow enrich Colter Shaw’s storyline.

Now that leading actor Justin Hartley has confirmed it himself, another addition is making its way to Tracker — the thing here is that she’s not new to sharing the screen with Hartley.

In one of his recent interviews the actor revealed that season 1’s finale will also feature Jennifer Morrison “coming on to play a key role”. Those who enjoyed Hartley’s drama show This Is Us back then will instantly grasp the idea of who the actor is going to reunite with quite soon.

Hartley then specified that Morrison is set to portray an old friend of Shaw’s family that has been around since both she and Colter were kids. Talking about the impact that Morrison’s character will have on Colter, Hartley said that the “whole family dynamic” will be brought up from the perspective of their relationships in the season’s finale.

In This Is Us, Jennifer Morrison got to portray Cassidy Sharp whose relationships with Justin Hartley’s Kevin Pearson became the show’s whole new highlight during its television run from 2019 to 2022.

Cassidy’s appearance in season 4 made so many fans across the world root for her happily ever after with Kevin. The characters did in fact develop romantic feelings for each other, but in the end brought it back to just being good friends.

Knowing how well the chemistry between Morrison and Hartley worked out in This Is Us, Tracker’s fans may have all the reasons to expect the new storyline to dive deep into Colter’s past and present that will resurface all his inner issues that have been torturing him all along.

The first season’s finale is set to be released on May 19.
